Adaptive Execution
Built for Changing
Market Conditions.
Vertex Adaptive Straddle™ is a systematic MT5 trading engine designed to identify short-term market ranges, measure their quality, and adapt its execution to the conditions available at that moment.
Trading involves risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Instead of relying on a fixed entry distance or a single market condition.
The system evaluates the latest completed M1 range against its recent range distribution. When the M1 range does not provide sufficient information quality, the engine can fall back to the M5 range and maintain that setup through its configured lifecycle.
Once a valid range passes the required checks, the engine builds an adaptive execution structure using a Buy Stop and Sell Stop around the range. When one side triggers, the opposite pending order is cancelled through an OCO mechanism, allowing the system to respond to whichever side of the defined range breaks first.
Engineered for Real Market Conditions
Adaptive Range Engine
M1-first range detection with M5 fallback when short-term range quality is insufficient.
Two-Sided Execution
Adaptive Buy Stop and Sell Stop positioning with OCO management after activation.
Market Condition Filter
Dynamic spread and tick-pressure analysis designed to avoid unsuitable execution conditions.
Adaptive Risk Governor
Risk and position sizing respond to equity, drawdown, setup quality and market conditions.
Trade Intelligence
Persistent execution records capture spread, slippage, range source, R-multiple, profit and trade conditions.
Protection & Lifecycle
Setup expiry, daily protection, consecutive-loss controls, break-even management and restart recovery.
Every Layer Responds to the Market
Range Intelligence
Measures current M1 range expansion against recent market behaviour and assigns a Range Quality value. Lower-quality M1 conditions can transition to an M5 fallback rather than forcing a weak setup.
Dynamic Execution Distance
Entry distance adapts to the detected range and current spread conditions instead of relying on one rigid fixed value.
Tick Pressure Monitoring
The engine monitors recent tick movement and velocity. When price approaches a pending trigger while short-term pressure is moving against that side, the system can cancel the affected order before execution.
Dynamic Spread Protection
Spread conditions are evaluated against a recent market-derived baseline. Elevated conditions reduce exposure, while extreme conditions can prevent a new straddle from being deployed.
Adaptive Risk Governor
Position size is calculated from account equity, stop distance, market condition and setup quality. Quality-based multipliers can adjust exposure, while drawdown protection can reduce or block risk.
OCO Execution & Protection
The system manages the two-sided pending structure, cancels the opposite order after a valid trigger and includes protection against an unexpected double-trigger scenario.
Time-Based Setup Expiry
An armed setup does not remain active indefinitely. M1 and M5 configurations have separate lifecycles so outdated ranges can expire without being forced into a trade.
Break-Even Management
Once an active position reaches the configured R threshold, the system can automatically move the stop toward break-even while maintaining the original trade structure.
Persistent Trade Intelligence
Every completed trade can be recorded with execution details including range source, range quality, entry and exit, spread conditions, slippage, tick pressure, lot size, profit, R-multiple, duration, session and exit reason.
Deterministic rules. Controlled exposure. Auditable execution.
Vertex Adaptive Straddle™ is designed around deterministic rules, controlled exposure and auditable execution. The system does not use Martingale, grid recovery, loss doubling, machine learning or live self-optimization.
Its dashboard is designed to expose the engine's real operating state — range source, range quality, spread, tick pressure, pending orders, risk, drawdown, execution checks and trade history — rather than presenting cosmetic signals.
